How cars have changed

Have there really been that many significant changes in the car industry in recent years? From being a luxury way back in the 1930’s to the cheap affordable way you can buy them now using car contract hire it is amazing just how far they have come.

The best way for me to explain how far they have come is to talk about games. The Super Nintendo Entertainment System is a brilliant place to start this off . I could cover the first ever racing game but seeing as I was only really around from the realease of the SNES it is best that I only cover the time after this. The first real driving game that I played was F1 pole position which was released in 1993 and at the time was an awsome game.

In just a four year gap you can see the remarkable difference between one of the previous entries to the newer one on the Nintendo 64. The graphic jump between the two is simply astounding. The cars have gone from being 2-D to 3-D which for it’s time was a giant leap in technology. The graphics don’t change enourmously until the latest generation of consoles, the Xbox 360 and PS3′s graphics when it comes to driving games look almost realistic.V.

Of course this hasn’t just happened in the gaming world, many things have been tried and failed or been made into a huge success over the last few years. Maybe not the best in the opinion of a lot people but personally the Hybrid car is the best invention to come to the car industry in a long time. The reason they are so good is that they save a hell of a lot on energy which is going to be pretty useful for when the oil runs dry. The newer models of the Hyrbid enable you to put more charge into the battery when you brake the car.

Of course not to be forgotten is the brilliant to shut the kids up, T.V in the car as well as heated seats to calm the Mrs down during a heated ‘you’ve got us lost’ argument.

Hybrid cars will become increasingly more important in years to come but when buying a car now you need one that looks good as well as being affordable. Spend a lot less money on a leased car? The Audi contract hire looks pretty good as well as being as little as £214 a month.
