Scooters are motorcycles that have a mini-platform or footrest and has a step-through design. Initially, scooters only have engines from 50 to 250 cc because it was meant to be for low power transportation only. To date, there are some remaining scooters with this kind of engine. However, there are now those that are maxi scooters, having engines with 250 to 800 cc. As scooters improve in terms of features and speed, it also continues to become more popular. Several reasons can be attributed to the sudden success of scooter sales. For starters, a scooter is preferred by motorists because it is lighter and requires less gas consumption compared to big vehicles like cars. Moreover, you get to enjoy the nature and fresh air while driving towards your destination and parking or storage of the vehicle would not be that much of a burden. Perhaps the biggest reason for the success of scooters is that they are cheaper than other vehicles.
