Honda Hybrid Vehicles Lead The Way In An Attempt To Make Us Green

Honda hybrid models became available on the market in 1990’s and they were introduced in the United States in 1999. Honda Insight opened the road, quickly followed by the response of Toyota with the appearance of the Prius. Apparently Honda hybrid models enjoy high sales rates as well as the Toyota ones although in the United States Honda is the undisputed leader. Honda Civic hybrid set the sales record in 2004. The number of Honda hybrid models sold on the market since 1999 when Insight was released until 2006 surpassed that of 100,000. Most of these models have found owners in the United States, next come Japan, Europe and Canada.

SUVs are luxury vehicles and whoever buys one probably has enough money for maintenance and gasoline.Yet, with the oil prices hitting the roof, more economic vehicles are necessary, and hybrid SUVs happen to match the requirements. Besides, there is this tendency and increase-awareness goal all over the world to make people aware of the importance of our energy resources which we have been using wastefully.
