There are plenty of reasons why you would need to restore your bike gas tank.  Naturally if you have a gas tank which is broken or leaking in any way you would like to be sure to replace it before you get into an accident and go up in flames.  Several riders choose to replace gas tanks that are in great condition so that they can set in a new tank which can provide them a larger riding range.
