The impressive sales of Saturn Aura allowed for this mid-sized car to get in the top of the best cars produced by General Motors. The new Saturn concept was presented in the 2006 New York Auto Show, and it capatured the public attention right from the beginning even if GM only intended it as the line to replace the L Series. The consequence of this new direction is an advantage of American cars over European imports particularly since recently the the success belonged to the latter. Saturn Aura thus rivals with its distant cousin: the European Opel Vectra.

Saturday, June 13th, 2009The Popular Saturn Ion
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009Launched in 2003, Saturn Ion is one of the many car models manufactured by General Motors; it came as a replacement for the Saturn S Series, the first line of production since the beginnings of the division. According to statistics, Saturn Ion satisfied customers more than any other compact car sold on the American market, and this is the reason why it was sold for such a long time, till 2007 when it was replaced by Saturn Astra. This car included the famous General Motors Delta platform and it had a standard DOHC Ecotec I4 engine that gave 140 horsepower.
Improvements of The Saturn SC2
Sunday, March 29th, 2009Saturn SC2 is the short name from the sports coupe level of the first division of Saturn vehicles produced at the beginning of the 90s. The introduction of the S Series by General Motors came a marketing stratagem to lower the influence of the Japanese cars on the American market. After Saturn SC2 became a market hit, Japan and Taiwan actually began imports of these vehicles on their markets, which only proves that the reputation GM got for the Saturn S Series was not void of content. In the years following the release, no improvements have been made to Saturn SC2, upgrades appeared as late as 1999.

The popularity of the concept became apparent in 2006 when it was made public at the New York Auto Show, and though it was meant as a replacement for the Saturn L-series, Saturn Aura brings a breath of fresh air to the entire Saturn collection. The result of this new direction is market preference for American cars instead of European imports particularly since in recent years the focus has fallen on the latter in the United States. Saturn Aura thus rivals with its distant relative: the European Opel Vectra.
