All Of The Ways That The New Camry Is Affordable And Tasteful

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011

The Toyota Camry has a luxurious and decadent interior cabin. It’s spacious in size and rides with comfort. When you’re looking for an economy vehicle, it is rare to find one that is generous in size. In fact, the two ideas — economy vehicle and large interior — seem basically at odds with one another. It seems that you would not be able to have both within the exact same vehicle. However, you’ll discover that with the Toyota Camry this isn’t the case. When you climb inside, it will actually be hard to remember that you’re in an economy vehicle, because you’ll not feel in any way that you’re being squished in to place, but rather you’ll feel as if you have room to stretch your arms and legs.

Toyota Celica Built For Speed

Monday, April 5th, 2010

Toyota Celicas have been around for quite a long time now.  Not actually as old as the Ford Pinto, but you know what I mean.  Celicas have always been known for being the affordable sports car made by Toyota.

But, whats so great about this car?  When in comparison to other similar priced autos, their quickness is no where near the performance that other cars can produce.

Not only that, Honda’s and Scion’s have much more aftermarket parts availiable for tricking out your ride.  So, once in a while you’ll see a Black Toyota Celica in a street race, but if your a true racer, you are not afraid of the Celica.

New Tacoma Or Suzuki RMZ-4

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

When looking for a Used Toyota Insight, lets keep in mind the superiority of a Toyota and the resale value for all Used Toyota Corollia, it’s not lets say, as good as purchasing a Used Chrysler in Gainseville but it does have an advantage over the opposition.
The 2009 Equator made by Suzuki is equipped with a pretty quick 6 cylinder, not as good as the Toyota Tundra V6, which has great strength for all weekend projects and light duty work truck mission. The more economical 4 cylinder engine is also available in the 2009 Suzuki, getting much better gas mileage than the V6  is a plus, but if I’m doing a big job or moving my friends the higher tourque six cylinder is the pick for me.
Providing an mountain of low-end torque, 6 cylinder series are up for almost every task, hooked to the six cylinder is a strong automatic transmission that shifts out like a Cadillac. Precise Steering, and ride quality is unexpectedly pleasing for a pickup.
The RMZ-4′s off-road suspension package makes that model’s ride feel a bit more like a truck. The four wheel drive models are capable of pond jumping, thanks to a maximum road clearance of 10” and a great amount of suspension travel.
The less expensive base Equator is naked and equipped with 15 inch steel alloy rims and bucket seats with a center console but little else, A/C or a sound system is your basic. The Premium model adds sixteen inch alloy rims, a rear slide glass, a tilt steering wheel, keyless entry, full power accessories and comfortable cloth seats. Picking the Sport gets you 17-inch aluminum wheels, a sprayed-in bed liner and easy to use tie-down anchors in the bed.
The RMZ-4 adds chrome exterior components, much stronger axles, an electrical locking rear differential, Bilstein shocks, brush plates, 16” aluminum rims with aggressive tread pattern tires, fog lamps, height and lumbar settings for the driver seat and metallic cabin accents. The RMZ-4 Sport adds an upgraded stereo system with a CD changer, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio prep, and Bluetooth compatibility. Oddly enough, an aftermarket fashion GPS is optional on all crew cabs but not available on the extended-cab Equators. Bluetooth is optional exclusively on the RMZ-4 crew cab.

Which 2010 Hybrid is Better?

Sunday, October 11th, 2009

Toyota recently released their new price for the 2010 Prius.  With a MSRP of ,500 on the Prius is a few thousand dollars more expensive than its main competitor; the Honda Insight, which has a MSRP of ,800. Costing a few grand less earns the Insight the honor and distinction of cheapest hybrid in the U.S.

The Insight offers an ECO Assist system which enhances fuel economy further by controlling acceleration rates and helping the driver drive learn how to drive more economically.  It improves performance through the ECON™ button, which controls certain functions of the car, and gives feedback through an ECO scoring system that lets you monitor driving performance as well as gives more incentive to drive green. An electric motor gives the engine a nice boost, this system is called the integrated motor assist or IMA. This new technology further reduces weight, saves on manufacturering costs, and adds to the overall cabin space. Variable Valve Technology is used in the Insight motor which also helps perfomance.  Features included on some Insight models are: alloy wheels, cruise control, 6 speaker audio with USB interface, steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, Stability Assist, and a satellite navigation system with voice recognition. The Insight and the Prius are clear competitors but Honda is determined to knock Toyota out of the competitive market to become the hybrid leader.

Drive more sensibly and save fuel

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

Most of us have to watch our outgoings nowadays and one fairly major expense is running our cars. The price of petrol seems to be forever going up and so there are a few rules we can follow to help save on fuel.

One thing many of us are guilty of at times is putting our foot down when we accelerate. If you drive an automatic it is best to accelerate at a moderate speed in order to give the transmission time to shift to the higher gears. Also if you accelerate and brake right away this is a big waste of petrol.

Is it wise to let it get so low?

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

Has this happened to you?

There you are driving along and you glance at the petrol gauge. Oops the fuel gauge says it is dangerously close to empty!

Now I really want to get to work before I am late and all the petrol stations have queues a mile long (well almost!) so I decide to carry on and buy some petrol later on in the day.

Needless to say I forget. With every mile I take I am pushing my luck and promising myself that I will get more petrol at the next garage. At a guess I think I have travelled another 15 miles or so until I have topped the tank up.
